Optaglio has won a contract to supply its high-security H-PRO (Holographic Print Receptive Overlay) for the passport of the Republic of Peru. The new passport books featuring the H-PRO overlay are printed by Tomas Greg & Sons, Peru. They are part of the comprehensive passport upgrade programme undertaken by the countries of the Andean Community. The new holographic overlay is infilled on colour laser printers and features a high-resolution E-Direct® holographic image with multiple security features and also a UV fluorescent print feature. The overlay meets the highest standards of security, durability tamper-resistance and ensures that Peru has one of the world’s most secure passport solutions.
